Website Design
Designed, tested, and implemented bi-monthly publishings of Madewell's consumer e-commerce website for desktop and mobile, and in-store digital experiences, incorporating customer data and feedback to enhance the user experience and conform to style guidelines across Madewell’s site. This included fit guides, lookbooks, product category landing pages, and navigation.
Madewell x Backdrop Collab
The layout and design for the Madewell x Backdrop collab collection was completed with the goal of merging the brand aesthetics of both Madewell and Backdrop in addition to creating an editorial feel while still maintaining a shoppable experience. The layout was designed to be clean and visually appealing, with a focus on high-quality images and typography. Moreover, the focal point of the collab was the signature color, and to further enhance it’s magnitude, color was not used as a style element on the page and white space was used intentional. The navigation was intuitive and easy to use, with clear calls-to-action to guide users through the shopping process.
Denim Fit Guide
For the Women’s Denim Fit Guide, interactive modules were introduced to enhance user engagement and provide a dynamic experience. These modules allowed a user to view different model types and sizes in all the same featured denim fits, allowing for comparison between body types. Additionally, the website was designed with responsive design in mind, ensuring that it would be accessible and easy to use on all devices including desktops, laptops, tablets and mobile phones. Overall, the combination of interactive modules, selectors for customized user experience, and responsive design resulted in a highly engaging and user-friendly fit guide.
Spring Collection
The layout and design for Spring Collection was completed with the goal of creating an editorial feel while still maintaining a shoppable experience. The layout was designed to be clean and visually appealing, with a focus on high-quality images and typography. The navigation was intuitive and easy to use, with clear calls-to-action to guide users through the shopping process. The overall aesthetic was designed to be modern and sophisticated, drawing inspiration from the world of print media and creating a sense of exclusivity. The end result was a digital lookbook that felt like a digital magazine, with a seamless integration of editorial content and e-commerce functionality, providing a unique and enjoyable user experience.
Men’s Denim Digest
The Men’s Denim Digest’s primary objective was to educate consumers on the elements and details of Madewell’s wide range of denim. The page was designed with a clean and modern layout to make it easy for visitors to easily digest the information being presented and had clear call-to-actions to browse the entire product line. The Men’s Denim Digest was designed to provide detailed information about Madewell’s denim fit offerings, color range, and fabric technology. Each including specifications, images, and CTA’s. The page also included a resource section that provided additional educational resources. I was responsible for this new layout, working alongside the marketing team to make sure all important details were featured on the page.
